Is Victor Ciesielski the next Tiger in Golf?

It is said that Victor Ciesielski has the most natural talent of any of the Canada’s young golfers. At the young age of 23 he has already played in two Canadian Opens, got noticed for his long drives and his fashion sense. He used his success at the Open to gain a spot on the national amateur team and he also returned to school to get a degree in Recreation and Leisure. At the University of Waterloo he was successful with his Waterloo Golf Team in gaining 4 wins and a provincial title. He dropped out of school a year later due to the financial aspect of it, and his Team Canada experience did not last long either.

Lots of people say Victor is a difficult golfer whose ego was larger than his on course success, that he is too cocky and difficult to coach. Ciesielski says that this is an unfair characterization. Through all that has been said, one thing that is agreed upon is Victors natural talent, but can he see just how far his natural talent could bring him. I mean, we are talking about the next generations Tiger in Golf. For more information on Ciesielski, check out Robert Thompsons article in Ontario Golf Magazine.
