I like to keep the blog updated with current golf news, golf tips and other golf goodies but today i just got to walk a little off the track and add this. I know golf is great, it is fun, it is rewarding and healthy but i just cannot believe the comment President Bush said about his golf game–or lack of golfing. He says ” I gave up golf in 2003 because i did not want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And i think that playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.” Bush had some good things to say yesterday on a few other topics but after saying a comment as such–all the rest sort of seems to go out the window. He did not give up golf for reasons such as wanting to focus all of his time on the soldiers or the people, but because of how some might perceive it. I am not a political person just human and i think that the comment was in bad taste.  What do you think?

 On a happier note, now that i have vented my issue- lets grab a wrist rite and go golfing!
