Sergio Wins
What an exciting golf tournament on the weekend and Sergio Garcia beat Paul Goydos is a playoff. I was kind of routing for both players as they both have wonderful stories. Goydos was the fan favourite and was like your average Joe. He had a refreshing personality and was certainly the underdog. Garcia is supposed to be a rising superstar and he has struggled living up to the billing. People were always criticizing his putting and wondering when he was going to win again or more often. Hats off to both players!
I am off to my first big tournament of the year today. It is the called the Pro-Pro, where I play with another partner and we play a best ball which is the best score on the hole. A lot of people confuse best ball with scramble where you continually play the best shot. My partner is my friend Ken Tarling, along time tour player and I am looking forward to it. I will let you know how we do.
