Last summer we had an enormous amount of rainfall throughout the first few months of the golf season. For many, it placed a huge damper on their golf getaways, their networking plans and not to forget, tour players getting soaked out of their opportunity to play a good round of golf.

Perhaps it was perfect timing for Tiger to take time off for surgery due to inclement weather. Do you blame him! But seriously, the summer of 2008 was not the best for playing a round of golf.
